WHAT IS A
Full Mouth Reconstruction?
Your mouth should function properly without any problems, so if you find yourself having trouble eating, speaking, opening or closing your mouth or even breathing, you may qualify for a full mouth reconstruction. A full mouth reconstruction is a treatment plan consisting of multiple dental procedures that can take weeks to years to finalize but has the end goal of creating a healthy, beautiful and functional oral structure.
Full Mouth Reconstruction Treatments
Dr. Amir HagShenas is skilled in nearly all facets of dentistry, and may recommend one or multiple treatments, including:
We can place single, multiple, full arch dental implants and implant supported dentures to replace missing teeth. Dental implants mimic the look and function of real teeth and can be a permanent replacement solution with proper care.
We can restore lost bone volume with bone grafting treatments, including sinus lifts. Bone grafting is often necessary before receiving dental implants if you have been missing teeth for some time.
We offer CEREC same-day crowns that can be designed, milled and placed the very day of your appointment; there is no need for additional appointments or temporary crowns. Dental bridges fill a gap of missing teeth to cover gaps.
Our practice offers both Invisalign® clear aligners and FASTBRACES® as alternatives to traditional orthodontics. These procedures allow us to realign your bite in a quicker and more discreet way.
Teeth that have minor imperfections can be masked with porcelain veneers. This simple procedure provides a cosmetic enhancement and can be completed in two appointments.
Teeth that are affected by gum recession are susceptible to disease, damage and tooth loss. We offer both gum grafting and the minimally invasive Pinhole® Surgical Technique to restore gum length to proper levels.
An infected tooth can cause pain, tooth loss and even systemic health concerns. We can treat infected teeth with a root canal to relieve you of pain and improve your oral and overall health.
When your natural teeth cannot be saved, we offer gentle tooth extractions to prevent additional pain and preserve health. We often recommend dental implants to replace teeth that have been removed.
