Here’s a collection of what a small sampling of our patients have had to say:
“Dr. Amir HagShenas has been my Dental doctor since 1990; I First visited him in 1990 when he was practicing in Fremont, California. I had a front tooth that could not be saved and I was in pain and traveling overseas the following week for a few months.
I visited many Dental Doctors and all they could or wanted to do was to pull the tooth and place a bridge when I came back.
Doctor HagShenas came all the way from Los Gatos to Fremont on that Saturday, did all X-Ray's, pulled the tooth, did all the preparation work that day, placed a temporary bridge, had the Lab make the final bridge in 4 days, and the following Saturday again came from Los Gatos to Fremont and finished installing the bridge, and on Sunday I flew overseas without missing front teeth. (In those days this was a 3 to 4 week process, if not more).
In another case I had a root canal done when I was 12 years old ( by some other doctor, Dr. HagShenas was probably in Middle school at the time of that root canal, ha! ha!).
In 2001, I felt a lump under my gum below this tooth and it kept getting bigger until it became the size of a grape in 2 months. I went to see the doc (Dr. HagShenas) and after doing his exams, he said the root canal is leaking, but he wants to make sure it is not cancer.
He stepped out of his office with me and personally took me across the street to an oral surgeon. The surgeon tested the lump/ tumor and it was not cancer and then Dr. HagShenas took care of it. It turned out his diagnostics of a leaking OLD, OLD root canal was correct.
In conclusion: I have never met friendlier, more professional, warm, fun people than Dr. HagShenas’ staff now in Los Gatos, CA.”

I live in Sunnyvale and know of two other dental offices closer that were suggested to me but I have to tell you hands down, I know I made the right choice traveling to Los Gatos. “Dr. HagShenas is a WONDERFUL dentist who has always done a great job on my teeth. Unlike others opinions, he has never tried to sell me anything and only recommends what he thinks is best. If I am not ready to do a procedure he is not pushy at all. I recently had two skin grafts done because I have pretty bad recession. This required sedation and 3 weeks of stitches in order for proper healing. I was prepped very well by the staff and given both pre and post surgery instructions. I followed them and my skin graft has healed beautifully with no issues or infection. I have also had four porcelain crowns done and have been seeing him for regular cleanings for almost five years. I have never had a single problem.
I highly recommend Dr. HagShenas and his dental team. He is highly knowledgeable and the best dentist I have ever come across (yes, I have tried many).

From the receptionist to the dental hygienists, everyone in the office is fantastic. I really recommend Dr. Hagshenas for everyone, but this practice is particularly wonderful for those who have some anxiety about the dentist. Everyone who works here has a great way with patients and makes you feel very calm and relaxed.
I've had my teeth cleaned, wisdom teeth removed, and cavities filled here, and not once have I had a bad experience. The wisdom teeth extraction especially was not as bad as I thought it would be because the staff was so helpful and gave me great after-care tips. They even sent me flowers the next day!
The office waiting room itself is so welcoming and posh and it feels like you're waiting for your spa session to start, not your bi-annual teeth cleaning. Again, if you are afraid of going to the dentist, I can't encourage you to come here enough. From the moment you step in the door, you're taken care of and enveloped in the calming atmosphere.”

“Once again, I am disturbed at myself for NOT telling the world how amazing Dr. HagShenas is.
First, I actually model my own business' customer service after his office. No kidding! I'll give you an example - I call up with a cold two hours before my appointment and Lindsay immediately tells me we're rescheduling for my comfort. Then, another time, my client and I overshot our time and I was late for my cleaning. Called up and said I would be at least 15 minutes late. Michelle actually stays past her usual time to wait for me!
The attention to detail is incredible. I'm convinced Dr. HagShenas will only give you advice as if you were his sister or son. I've had issues with teeth grinding and he's gone above and beyond by refitting my night guard as often as I need it, a 30 minute appointment at least, and never once has he charged me for it.
I love them. How often do you hear that about a DENTIST?!”

“Where do I start??? Dr. HagShenas (and staff) will change your life. Seriously. You will no longer dread going to the dentist; you won’t even put off making your appointment. Dr. H and his staff will do whatever it takes to make sure you're comfortable. They'll offer blankets if you're cold. They've even turned off the lights so I could take a nap while waiting for the anesthesia to kick in. The best part is you can tell that they genuinely care about their patients. When I started treatment with him I wouldn't smile with my teeth showing because they weren't in the best condition, now I cannot stop smiling! “Ok! So if you ever want to feel great about yourself this is the place to go. I have only had two appt with Dr Amir HagShenas’s office and both times I was late for some stupid reason me mostly, they took me any way got the job done and made me feel good. I hate to be late any where and not a common practice for me. So then I get all uptight and they ust calmed me down. and we got the work done. I feel great. “Let’s face it, it was a wisdom-teeth extraction, not an elective thing like whitening. Having never been sedated, I was a little intimidated by the prospect, but the staff put me at ease and the combination of sedatives and nitrous made sure I felt no discomfort, physical or mental. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a thing as unpleasant and usually dreaded as tooth extraction.”

“When I first arrived I was 45 minutes late due to 7am traffic from Morgan Hill, the receptionist was very nice, no one was mad at me for being so late I love the atmosphere at Dr. HagShenas’…the waiting room area so relaxing(candle burning smells amazing), such hi-tech equipment like an x-ray machine that just spins around your head/plays music and has way less radiation- very cool… I highly recommend Dr. HagShenas’ and his team of assistants!!!”

“Great to go and see. I’ve beeen to him on numerous occasions. I hate needles. But he uses what seems to be fibor optic needles. I never feel anything. He just numbs me up in all the right places. His is very good. Since being with my Dentist Amir. He has done 2 crowns on me. Deep cleaning and replaced 6 silver fillings with composite fillings which are much better than that mercury and silver tht was in my mouth.
I highly would recommend him and his wonderful staff to anybody.”

My crowns were done in his office in less than 2 hours. He does not send it out to a Lab for you to only wait for 2 weeks like most dentist do and they have you wait only to come back to take off the temp. caps to put on your permanent crowns. Everything is done in his office within 2 hours he has most recent high tech equipment. And so you have you new crowns put on in a matter of minutes. The technology I’ve personally seen in his office is Amazing. His female staff are always kind, warm, and friendly. I feel very reassured as a patient to be thier care. Trust me your in very good hands with Mr. Amir and his lovely staff.”

My visit was spectacular! I told the hygenist of some concerns that I had about tooth sensitivity. She was so gentle and kind, and explained everything that she was doing so I knew what to expect. She even let me be in control of the suction which was pretty cool. I was equally impressed with the treatment coordinator who was very knowledgable of the services that the Dr. provides which made me feel very comfortable with booking future treatment. Dr. HagShenas didn’t need to see me today, but stopped by to say hello which I thought was very nice. The service one receives here will be very personalized as well as professional! If I had to give this establishment a letter grade, it would definitely bean A+!

His office doesnt have a computer doesnt even have a website or e mail address when I will call they have no idea when my last visit was or if my insurance will pay. this is very important as if you get new glasses one day earlier than once a year they refuse to pay.

“As a child, a painful experience had caused me to avoid the dentist for the past 19 years. I tried 2 other dentist’s before Dr. HagShenas office but it was nothing more than a quick look in the mouth and I refused to go back. After my visit with Dr. HagShenas, I’m looking forward to my next visit! He and his staff bend over backwards to make sure your comfortable and pain free! They even offered me a blanket! I almost felt like I was flying 1st class! Seriously though, at one point I began to feel nervous but it was only from thoughts of the past. The Dentist coached me in taking deep breaths which totally relaxed me and as I look back on the visit, I can honestly say that I felt no pain the entire time!
Thank you Dr. HagShenas and staff! Your all wonderful caring people! (and what a beautiful restroom! WOW!)
