Dr. Amir HagShenas
Dentistry is more than a career to me. It is a calling! I am as passionate about what I do today as I was 20 years ago. I love coming to work every day and spending time with wonderful people. I truly believe what I do changes lives.
In my dental practice, patient relationships come first, and the connection I make with each patient is very important to me. It’s a connection built on trust, respect, and sincere compassion.
I support my care with a profound knowledge of dentistry, high attention to details, and a gentle approach. I stay on the leading edge of implant, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. I complete hundreds of hours of continuing education every year, far exceeding the required amount by my profession.
I firmly believe that my patients deserve the very best dental care possible, and that’s exactly what I strive to give every patient. That’s my commitment to them.
I received my Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Minnesota in 1991, and years later, received my fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. I am a graduate of the renowned Foundation of Advanced Continuing Education (FACE) Institute, where I have refined some of my comprehensive bite therapy techniques.
I am proud to have been awarded the Irwin A. Epstein award from the University of Minnesota for Excellence in Endodontics, the science of root canal therapy techniques.
I have been living in the Bay Area for many years, and love to spend time with my family. I am a very lucky husband, and a proud father of two fantastic children. I have loved playing and watching the game of soccer for about 40 years now, and still enjoy it as often as my work and family responsibilities allow. I like playing golf when I get a chance, and enjoy following San Francisco Giants and 49ers, San Jose Sharks and Earthquakes, and the Golden State Warriors. Travelling and music are also two of my personal favorite hobbies.
I truly enjoy being involved with the local Silicon Valley community, and take pride in getting out and working with those individuals who help build and lift-up our area.
